Biography

Attorney Lisa M. Anderson has more than 20 years of experience in the field of US immigration law. Ms. Anderson was born in Canada and immigrated to the United States in 1999. She is educated in both Canada and the United States and holds law degrees from both countries including a Master of Laws degree from Tulane University. Ms. Anderson is licensed to practice law in the United States and has been admitted to the State Bar of California. She has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association since 2004.

Ms. Anderson has been admitted to practice law before the United States District Court, Central District of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Ms. Anderson practices US immigration law in all 50 states and handles all types of consular processing for those clients who are located outside of the United States. Ms. Anderson has represented clients throughout the United States and around the world including Canada, Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Belize, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Great Britain, Europe, Syria, Iran, Australia, China, Korea, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, and India.

Practicing exclusively in the area of immigration law, Ms. Anderson works on all types of immigration cases including non-immigrant/temporary visas as well as immigrant visas for legal permanent residency and US citizenship. Her cases include visas and permanent residency for investors, business and employment petitions, actors and entertainers, all immigrant visas (green cards), adjustment of status applications, consular processing, family based immigration, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA also known as Dream work permits), VAWA and U visas for victims of abuse/crimes, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), citizenship claims, naturalization and all types of waivers. Ms. Anderson also has expertise in complex border issues.

Ms. Anderson has conducted seminars on US immigration law in both Canada and Mexico. Ms. Anderson is based in Los Angeles, California and is a citizen of Canada and the United States.
